Baltic Porter is a classic, robust dark beer from the Baltic states, originally created as a nod to the strong Porters and Imperial Stouts imported from Britain. Fermented cold, using lager yeast, it's designed to be smooth and full-bodied but not heavy, featuring flavours of toffee, liquorice and dark fruits with little roastiness.

Aroma & Flavour: Sweet toffee and liquorice, followed by blackcurrant, raisin and prunes
Body: Full-bodied, rich and smooth
Aftertaste: Light herbal bitterness, chocolate and muted roast malt accents

Can from Wine Rack, Burpham. Light coffee aroma with a real berry streak. Dark. Ruby tint in the light. Fluffy off-white foam head. Light-medium bitter. Chocolate, coffee and malts. Some underlying berry sourness. Gradually a creamy burnt sugar sweetness creeps in. Light bodied. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Enjoyable but feels kind light weight. Could do with more punch in terms of bitterness and palate.

Can. Don’t know where from. Clear, light cola brown. Thick, slightly dirty looking beige head, that collapses in on itself. Nose has some vine fruit. Earthy coffee. Hint of fruity, dark chocolate. Soft smoke. Taste is fairly sweet, with some vine fruit dryness. Minimal bitterness. Medium body. A tad watery. Fine carbonation. More fruit to finish.
