Bottle at home. Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow colour with a small off-white head. Aroma of hay, pale malt, sweet corn and hint of hops. The hops are much more present in the flavour with the addition of citrus, grapefruit and grass. Slick and smooth mouth feel, and has a light to medium bitterness. A fresh and a little hoppy pale lager.

bottle - Pours gold with a small white head. The aroma is mild with grainy and bready malt. The flavor is mildly bitter and sweet bready malt. Light bodied, refreshing enough... it’s okay.

Can shared as a road soda. Drank from the can so can’t comment on the appearance. Aroma and flavour is fairly skunky. Light grain, malt and hops. Really not great.

Can from the Beer Koning, Amsterdam. The aroma is of stale malt. The flavour is weak bitter, with some malt, yeast and loads of carbonation on the somewhat watery and tasteless palate. Flying Dog are not doing themselves any favours by brewing a beer like this.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 12.03.2014, 20130822) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruity hops and hint of Belgian style yeastiness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, sweetness, grain and malts. Aftertaste sweet and bitter. Not a ordinary lager but a good one.

Sample at 1808 American Bistro. The beer is a slightly hazy golden color with a medium thin white head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops and grainy malt. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, malt and grain. The finish is mildly bitter with a short grassy hops aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.
