0.355l can. Pale golden body, white head. A bit spicy, grainy and earthy aroma. Fruity flavor with floral hops and bready malts. A bit too light bodied, but still a nice lager.

Aroma is somewhat fruity with peaches, some hops and hints of grain. Flavour has hops, some gooseberry bush, nettles, peaches, hints of pineapple and grain. Quite fruity, a premium lager in american way.

Into a pilsener, it has a clear yellow/golden colored body with a two finger white foamy head that lasts for a good minute before slowly dieing into the body. Slow moving streams of carbonation are seen rising, and it has some spider web lacing. The smell has the malts up front, with light peppery tones underneath once it warms a bit. The taste is centered around the sweet maltiness, and has the pepper come back a bit, but really stays subdued. The palate is light to medium and is mostly sessionable. It has no aftertaste or finish, and no carbonation is felt on the tongue whatsoever. Overall, this is good for the style and good for me.

Bottle from beernavigator. Pours golden and clear with white head. Herbs, citrus and brett on the nose. The surpricing slightly tart bretttaste puzzles me, herbs, flowers, limezest, little bitterness, dry finish, fresh, lots of carbonation. Not a hoppy beer, but crisp and refreshing with that herbal/bretty twist.

355ml bottle from Eide Handel. Yellow-gold body, slightly unclear. Faint white head, loose lacing. Modest aroma of pale malts and fresh noble hops. Fresh fruity flavour mingled with pale malts. Fine half-dry bitter endnotes. Soft carbonated. Refreshing and food friendly (Tromsø, 20.01.2013).

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a nice white head that leaves plenty of lacing all the way down the glass. Fresh grassy hops are first noticeable in both aroma and taste. Well balanced with a crisp, light body. I dont usually drink lagers, but this was an unexpected surprise. I’ll have another now.

Whoa! After years of thinking that Flying Dog ales are just OK, who knew they could make a lager like this! I wonder if Atlantic Lager is a specific reference to something, because this beer is a dead on clone of Sam Adams Boston Lager, and dare I say better. Fresh hop nose must have surely been hallertauer, spicy and floral with a little pepper in the flavor. Clean dry malts, amber to gold in color.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of hop with a grassy note. Richly carbonated. Bitter hoppy flavour with a rather rough finish. OK.
