Flaska från SB delad med Svensson. Det snygga grundölet har fått väldigt mycket ekkaraktär som kanske är lite kantig och träig. Annars snygg och maffig med fudge, torkad frukt och lite cognac. Gott.

Aroma is nice raisins, hop juice, creme brulee, cocoa beans, marzipan. Taste is heavy rum, creme brulee, phenols. Almost no carbonation. Too heavy and phenolic for me.

Bottle. Red chestnut, offwhite foam. Strong sugary roast, caramel, light oxidized. Fullbodied, almost sticky but plenty of sparkles to prevent it. Iodine, soy, caramel sauce, berries, spice/gunpowder. ok.

750 ml. 2015 vintage. Nice color. Aroma is toffee, candied plums, deep raisins, whiskey. Taste is dates, sugar covered raisins, English malts, alcohol notes. The flavor that lingers the most is oak. Whiskey is here, but huge oak to boot! Finish is sweet, light bitter with some mild warming alcohol. Medium bodied, with a restrained alcohol note. Pretty nice drink.
