Welcome to the evolution of style. When we set out to design Boomsauce years ago we knew we wanted a fruit forward, unfiltered and incredible IPA. However, this was a time before Hazy, New England IPAs has even entered the lexicon. As the sub category evolved so did expectations of what it meant to be a Hazy, Juicy IPA. So we decided to evolve Boomsauce along with the style. We adjusted the malt balances and hit it hard with our favorite hops. The results are an incredibly Juicy and Hazy derivative of Boomsauce that continues to define the category.

Tap at River road tavern. I wish I'd noticed this was a 9 dollar pour because I surely would have passed. Sweet bready maltiness citrus and tropical notes. A bit of medicinal plastic solvent phenol's are distracting. Meh.

Can shared by Chalumeaux, thanks TJ! Typical bright yellow haze appearance. Flavor is grapefruit, tropical notes, citrus, with a very mild herbal bitterness. Honestly, maybe the brewers at LB have started to turn around their early struggles. Seeing that this is better than anything I have sampled from them.
