A pale ale with spicy, grassy aromas and a taste of grapefruit and apricot. Undercurrent is part pale, part oats and part caramel barley. Her swirls of bold, bready and nutty malt whirl into a concoction of spicy, citrus, floral hops. Mystery lurks in those cascade and palisade hops. Her silky, creamy body will pull you under.

On tap at Brother’s Beer. Fairly nondescript aroma with a touch of pine, maybe some peach. Flavour has more peach, a little sweet banana and white chocolate and a nice bitter finish. Nothing special.

Bottle, bb 2/17. Amber with a large, loose white head. Aroma of caramelized oranges, bread, an odd woody note. Light bodied, medium high carbonation. Enough bread, just. Only a tiny bit of caramel. Lots of oranges, some peppery grass. As it gets towards the finish the citrus gets more grapefruit-like. Bitterness on the high side of moderate. Not convinced this has travelled well, but OK.

Pours rather clear amber, good White head. Smell is bit sweet ( Malt ) hopped. Taste is bitter, rather Sharp, Rich fruityness ( oranges up front ) bit tropical as well. Perhaps a bit too the thin side , high carbo isn’t helping there. would be better if more smooth.
