On tap. Pours black with light tan head. Aromas of dry roasted malts with a light light nuttiness. (Is it me or does all tap served chilled mute dark beer aromas?) Flavors of clean roasted malts, bitter dark chocolate, and just a little vanilla. Very well crafted and good example of style but expecting more.

Fat på Bishop, Gustav Malmö. Smak och doft av choklad, kaffe, rostad malt, lakrits och aska. Lagom sötma, fina kaffe aromer, rund och len, fin beska med smak av mörk bitter choklad. Gott!

On tap at Ølhus Stockholm, Helsinki. Looks pretty pitch black to me, a modest, beige head on top. Fruity and roasty aroma with dark fruits, cocoa and hints of spices. Medium to moderate sweet and rather flavourful, balanced with nice complexity and light bitterness. Smooth, tasty and easy to drink.

(Keg at Ølhus Stockholm, 20160909) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had dark chocolate, burnt malts and cocoa powder. Palate was medium bodied with rather high carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, fruitiness, sweetness, liquorice, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, burnt and bitter. A rather complex brew and still good.

[ As Warpigs Cry For Help, Rick ].Clear dark black brown color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heacy malty, roasted, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, wood, orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, wood, grapefruit, roasted, dry, roasted and hop bitter, salty notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. IMO much more like a Black IPA style thant a porter. [20150430]

Draught @ WarPigs. purs pale black with a small creamy mocha head that leaves some thick lacing on the glass while dissipating. Smell is slightly malty and slightly fruity with roasted malts, burnt caramel, grapefruit juice, coffee, dark rich chocolate, moist grass, dried pine needles, moist soil, lemon peal and hints of butter. Taste is slightly sweet, bitter, slightly malty and fruity. Mouthfeel is round, astringent and medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and bitter with roasted malts, burnt caramel, grapefruit, dark chocolate, moist grass, lemon peal and hints of butter. Not as riddled with butter as previous beers. Nice hoppy porter that shows potential...
