This beer is all about the complex fruitiness and tannins from the Aronia berry. The base is an amber raw sour fermented with Kveik. The whole brewery scoured woodlands and gardens around the capital area of Oslo, Norway for this rich and wonderful berry. The resutling mix of Raw beer and Aronia creates a fruity almost wine like beer.

Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Tart berry aroma with notes of apple and a touch of juniper. Flavour is tart and mildly sour. Medium body. Not the most complex, but the tart berries sure are pleasant.

On tap at Brygg. It's a lightly foggy golden colored beer topped by a finger-thick white head. The aroma is quite weird but also nice, with banana in a pickled kind of way, chili-ish notes, lemon, hints of vinegar and quite a lot of dark berries. It's dry and nicely carbonated, with a tart, sour, lemony and lightly vinegar-ish touch. Dark berries, bread notes and a faint juniper touch. Some paint thinner or simliar lurks in the far back but isn't really bothering. Lasting finish. A nice one, but more interesting than really nice or drinkable. 190607

Bouteille 33cl, batch#76, BB 26/3/2021.

On tap @ Melkebaren. Almost clear golden body with a small white head. Aroma has wood, juniper, wood and some acetone. In a good way actually, I find this aroma rather pleasant even if it a bit out of the normal context. Flavor is even more odd, its acidic with lots of wood, some juniper, pine, resin and hint of lacquer paint. Medium body and sour aftertaste with the same strange flavor. Drinkable, but rather unusually and not among the best from this brewery.
