Impermanence is an imperial milk stout brewed with coffee, chocolate, and maple syrup. Below these additions lies a complex base of chocolate, caramel, and dark crystal malts. A gentle pour yields dense mocha colored head that emanates succulent dark chocolate aromas and a waft of maple sweetness that seems to stick on the senses. The flavor is decadent, featuring a luxurious chocolate mocha character balanced by a sweet and rich maple finish that builds as the beer is allowed to warm in the glass. Impermanence is dense with flavor and rich on the palate yet maintains a certain fluffiness that makes drinking a big glass a true delight! With several dessert-like attributes, we imagine this beer as a great digestif to a big Spring dinner.

Taste like chocolate and maple syrup goodness, same as the smell in my garage when the bottle fell out of the fridge and smashed. This is a tremendous beer. Best stout I've had in a while.

Sample at the Brisket and Beer tasting on 11/02/2019. Inky black pour with a medium thick khaki head that diminishes gradually to a film. Patchy lacing. Aroma of roast malt, coffee and fudge. Medium to full body with flavors of espresso, chocolate malt and sweet maple. The finish is roasty with a coffee and maple aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Pours oily black with a thin tan ring of head. Aroma of nutty toffee. Taste has rich maple and sweet caramel with a lingering bitter coffee note. Palate has intense lactic note on the nose, lingering roasted malt. Intense.

Black colour with brownish head. Good, sweet chocolate beer, nutty, some maple, low bitterness, and alcohol barely noticeable.
Very good.

500ml bottle (thx, Danielle P.!) at Sales Force. Appearance: almost black with a beige head. Aroma: sweet, chocolatey, some roasted malts. Taste: along the same lines with coffee and maple syrup notes. Overall: very nice.

500mL bottle, pours black with a small dark brown head. Aroma brings out coffee upfront upfront, followed by maple syrup and a hint of cocoa. Flavour is intense, with loads of coffee upfront, with a hint of maple syrup, and light cocoa. A big coffee bomb, accentuated with laid back maple syrup. Excellent.
