Ausgeglichenes, schlankes Schwarzbier mit eher dezenter Röstmalzaromatik.

This is a very drinkable dark beer. An excellent beer to reassure the light colored beer drinker that not all dark beers taste like Stouts. A light medium body supports a smooth, well balanced beer. Refreshing beer that's a little different.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Consumed at home watching second half of England vs Italy (i.e. the part where it all went wrong). I blame this beer for that. Should have had another English cider like the first half. Anyway... Pours a dark brown with small beige head, reasonable retention. Roasty malt aroma, some nuts, coffee, hint of sweetness. Taste is like aroma, quite roasty and bitter with a slight sweetness to offset. Mid palate lacked something but other than that a decent lager.

Notes from 5/17/19. On tap regularly at DSK after a longtime stint of...(place beer here). Liter mug. Cola body, cola head. Scent is mostly malt, appropriate hops & a fun tannic, mineralistic middle end. Taste is dry, very dry toast, bitter burnt crust, yeasty haze, mellow unsweetened adult cerealness. Chewy, if thin body. It's just a good beer. I forget what was on tap prior, but that was a touch better. This, however, has grown on me.

Servida en jarra, color negro rojizo, espuma beige bien conservada. Aroma suave a malta tostada y caramelo. En boca cuerpo medio, textura ligeramente oleosa, notas de malta tostada, pan negro, caramelo y cierto toque ahumado. Definitivamente una schwarzbier francamente agradable, muy rica.
