We took the traditional IPA, originally shipped from England to India in the 1700′s, and made it bolder and more flavorful—American Style. We added new varieties of highly aromatic American hops to create a distinctive bitterness profile and an incredible hop character.

Sooper "B" Liquor Store in Denver: Pours light amber with a white head. Aroma is a whole bunch of citrus and some pine. Taste doesn’t get to be too bitter, but it is a little bit. Well-balanced. Consistently nice fruity taste.

Tap at Sheffield Tap. Hazy, pale amber. Aroma is an earthy, chestnut honey affair. Sticky sweet, short finish.

12oz bottle, with 7/9/13 on the bottle (consumed early June), pours with a clear copper body and gold edges supporting an off white head of foam. The modest aroma offers up a mix of malts and citrus hops and then a sliver of pine sap. The taste has pleasing and fairly rich yet snappy hoppiness. I get grapefruit, tangerine, orange peel and a couple of thin ribbons of sweet malts. The hops have a nice hop flavor component as well as an ample supply of resiny hop bite. Nice stuff.

35,5 cl bottle @ home, bottled? 3.1.2013
Aroma has caramel, toffee, some resiny hops, bready malt and fruits. Also vegetables and pea soup. Flavour has pine needles, pea soup, some vegetables, bready malt, hops and some fruity notes. Also some caramel. Decent, the off‐flavours do disturb here. Too old bottle?

Bottle from Stirchley Wines, Birmingham. Poured a clear medium amber with a big frothy white head. The aroma is lovely, floral and hoppy. The flavour is medium to strong bitter and hugely hoppy on the palate. It’s a great beer, but not so different to many other examples from other top breweries.
