Bottle at home from Stockholm, 21st April 14. Pours clean, not bottled conditioned, aroma is ok, but muted. Taste is American in style, smooth and average carbonation, bitter after taste. Not bad

330 ml bottle from Systembolaget, Stockholm. Pours amber with a nice head. Subtle aroma of hops, a bit of fruits - lichee? Taste is quite light, very easily drinkable, which is quite surprising considering the alcohol level (7,3%). Taste itself is quite difficult to catch - there are some tropical fruits in the beginning, quite subtle. Next the bitterness ensues. This bitterness is not foul but quite fresh and fruity. Quite surprisingly there is clear malt/bread flash in the aftertaste. This IPA feels more like a British one - although the list of different hops on the label is long, they are not overwhelming at all. Very drinkable for this kind of beer, maybe not my favourite as an IPA, but not bad.

330 ml bottle. Deep golden body with a moderate sized off-white head. Nice and fruity hop aroma of peaches and fruit in general in combination with caramel malt. Flavor is sweet caramel malt, fruit and pleasant bitterness. Medium body and quite nice in aftertaste. Not a hop bomb, but nice and balanced with a bitter finish.

Bottle at Dean’s Birthday Tasting, August 2013. Poured a clear medium amber with a broken white head. The aroma is rich and malty. The flavour is medium bitter, with lots of malt and liqourice on the sharp and bitter palate. The bitterness on the palate lasts forever.

33 cl bottle from Systembolaget. Clear, golden-amber with a dense, white head. A good glow in this beer. Fruity aroma with caramel malts, citrus, pines, hints of licorice and sweet, exotic fruits. Taste is sweet. Medium body, creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry with caramel malts, sweet fruits and hops. Lingering licorice. Very enjoyable, more malt centered IPA, in some aspects bordering a DIPA.
