Golden color, wih small head. Abrasive citrusy and tropical hop aroma, dry. The body is lean, good for highlighting the hops, but the flavor of malt and caramel, dry, is biscuity and with toasted notes, good but interferes with the hops; very strong bitterness, at most excessive in the end.
Unbalanced.

Bright amber color; medium sized head. Nice aroma, hoppy and fruity; citrus fruits, with a tropical accent, some passion fruit; then hop resins too. The dry mouthfeel is appreciated in this beer; strong toffee flavor, resiny, with orange fruitiness and a light alcohol bite, there is also a earthy touch. Bold and long final. Excellent.

Bottled:
Pours a clear, orangey amber with a thick head. Fruity, hoppy aroma with notes of pine, gooseberries and lychees. Fruity flavour; oranges, pine apple, mango, goose berries, kiwi followed by a long, resiny hop bitterness. Really good!

33 cl bottle from Systembolaget. Clear, golden/bronze colour with medium, white head. Aroma is grapefruit, citrus, pine, tropical fruit, grass and some malt. It has got some of the typical Nils Oscar-aroma of vegetables/hay/leaves but thankfully not too much of it. Taste is lightly sweet with medium bitterness. Quite dry. The malt comes through more in the flavour. Medium bodied with nice carbonation. Average IPA, nothing more, nothing less.

330ml bottle poured into a special cognac glass at the new place in Stockholm called Queen’s Head. Bright golden body under a bubbly, thin, off-white head. Inviting aroma of mandarin and pineapple. Succulent, tropical fruits in flavour with a noticeable hint of figs behind. Rounded bitter finish. Rather easy to drink and to appreciate, 29.07.2010.
