A massively hoppy west-coast style pale ale. An initial nose of dankness with subtle pine. SPA starts with an initial bite from the hops and finishes with a refreshing tangerine-like bitterness.

Draft at Port Brewing Co / The Lost Abbey brewery. Poured a nice dark orange color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was tasty juicy notes, lots of hop character. Flavorful. Easy drinking with a balanced, flavorful beer. Liked it a lot.

Bottle from Systembolaget Hansa. Hazy orange with a large white head. Aroma and taste of pineapple, light soap, some hay and hints of cookies. Medium bitter and with a medium mouhfeel. Not a bad one but it felt slightly old.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured an orange-amber color with a medium sized creamy orange-white head that left excellent lacing. The aroma was faint with tangy pine notes. The flavor was dry, bitter and piney with a tangy middle that sweetens a bit. Medium length finish with lingering bitterness. Medium body. Meh.

On tap at the brewery. Tropical fruits, mango and passion fruit. Taste is tropical fruits again, moderate bitterness. A good modern light APA, just a hint too much cat piss though.

bomber from Capitol Beer is Sacramento, CA. Pours translucent gold with a white head. Aroma is very much hop - going for citrus, pine and tropical fruits IMHO. Med + body. Flavor starts somewhat dank, moves on to citrus and fruits. Iโ€™m not sure a little more malt support would be a bad thing here, but clearly the hops are in charge. Hop burn from teeth through gullet. Yea!

Bottle at Bottle Shop. It pours clear golden-amber with a thick white head. The nose is soft, juicy, peach, apricot, lemon parfait, doughy, light floral, muffin and toasty sugars. The taste is crisp, bitter, minerals, lemon sherbet, grapefruit, cracker, apricot, peach and toasty grass with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Well-rounded and quaffable. Good stuff.
