A massively hoppy west-coast style pale ale. An initial nose of dankness with subtle pine. SPA starts with an initial bite from the hops and finishes with a refreshing tangerine-like bitterness.

On tap at the brewpub. It pours a lightly hazy body, golden in color, and with a white head leaving some lacings. The aroma is quite orangey, some grass and green pine cones. A pleasant malty sweetness is dealt with by the bitterness, fruits and pine cones blending in. Perhaps a bit sweet on the palate, but nice anyway. Nice carbonation. Long, bitter, sweet and fruity finish, the bitterness going on for a good while. Nice indeed. 130815

Draft. Gold body with a frothy, white head, lasting. Big aroma of orange, grapefruit peel, passion fruit, sweet tropical fruits, toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. The aroma is more interesting and enjoyable than the flavor which leans toward the resin and pine tastes of the hops.

On tap at Bangers & Laces. Pours a near clear rich orange with a slight gold hue and a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a nice combination of citrus and dank pine with a light, sweet grain backbone. Flavor is similar with more dank pine and a lighter citrus presence with the same light backbone.
