A Transpacific Pale Ale with New Zealand Pacific Gem and American Citra hops that give tropical fruit nose. Mango, peach and passion-fruit flavours carry into the taste and are balanced with light malt sweetness.

Bottle at Dean’s Birthday tasting, August 2013. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is grassy hop. The flavour is medium bitter with lots of malty, grassy nettle hops on the super smooth palate. A super beer.

Bottle at home. Pours hazy pale amber with a thin white head. Big pineapple and mango nose, more on the taste. Not much malt, perhaps a hint of hay, but a residual sweetness that balances the bitterness well. Good carbonation, slightly thin finish. Nice APA.
