25/12/2020. Bottle from my son Christmas Day 2020. Pours deep tawny brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of malt, toffee, bread, hops and dried fruits. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Sweet, warming, mild spiced finish. Quite drinkable.

[ As Staffordshire Cheddleton Christmas Ale ].
ABV: 4.6%. Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, sweet malt, caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, bread, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20201003]

Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, malt, bread, hops and hsa a sweet malty bready finish.

Frothy white fair mostly diminishing head. Amber color. Light malty and hoppy aroma.

Bottle @ Saxo tasting. Hazy brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and dark bread. Flavor is medium sweet. Sweet finish. Watery. 031020

Bottle @Saxo's. Clear amber, light beige head. Solid malty, caramely aroma. Watery, caramely flavour, light hoppy bitterness.

Bottle from Bradley Villa Farm Shop, Huddersfield. Brown coloured brew with a very thin head. Malty and mildly sweet in this respect, there's also a denser grittiness about the brew. A decent winter warmer with a low spiciness.

Rocky tan head left a good cover on mahogany coloured still body. Malt, demerara, liquorice & spice aroma. Medium bodied, sharp over the tongue with a dry back. Caramel, dark chocolate, malt, toffee & fruit tastes with a tangy finish.
