Batch #2 Deep copper coloured body with an almost ruby glow and a nice, two centimetre tall microfoamed tan head. Aroma of light hops, alcohol, candy sugar, wheat, light coriander seed and some light apple notes. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong hop flavours showing grass, perfume and light resin coupled along with a large belgian yeast note, some bread and a faint hint of sugars at the end. Aftertaste shows a complex grassy, herbal finish with a lot of yeast notes, some subtle alcohol warmth and a defined yeast quality that really hits hard and shows its’ real belgian qualities. I sampled this stubby 33 cL bottle purchased from Bier Temple in Bruxelles, Belgium on 18-January-2015 for €3,50 sampled at home in Washington on the other side of the pond on 02-April-2015.
