Bottle. Reddish amber color. Red fruit and smoke in the aroma and flavor. Smoked suasage, citrus, rye. Unusual flavors that come together well somehow. Nice.

0.33 l bottle from 'Sterk Avondverkoop' as 'Unforgiven Red Rye', best before March 2018. Clear, ruby with a thin, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish, fairly smoky and a bit spicy aroma of lots of smoked ham, caramel, some nuts and traces of juniper. Gently sweet, malty, quite smoky and a bit spicy taste of caramel, smoked ham, some juniper, a touch of nuts and traces of raisins, followed by a short, moderately bitter, quite smoky and moderately spicy finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent Smoked, wonder whether this should be categorised differently.

Bottle. Unforgiven Red Rye. Color: Red copper, beige head. Aroma: Smoked ham, juniperberries. Taste: Medium sweet, malty, notes of smoke and smoked ham. Dry fruity and bit herbal notes of juniperberries. Moderate bitterness at finish. Medium body, below average carbonation. Nice beer, but could have more body and smoke in my opinion.

Reddish brown colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have light smokiness. Decent body aided by the rye.

330ml bottle at home, sourced online from the brewery. Pours clear red amber to dark brown with an off white top. Aroma: caramel malts, rye, smoky bacon, oak. Taste: light sweet, moderate bitter, caramel, berries, bonfire smoke, smoked meat. Medium boy, ample carb, sweet then bitter smoky finish. One of Tempest's finest I reckon

Kicsi, gyorsan eltűnő hab, vörösesbarna szín. Édeskés-savanykás, füstös illat. Enyhén édeskés, füstös, kissé fűszeres ízek. Könnyű, enyhén szénsavas, alig keserű. Jól összerakott sör.
