Blond, soepel maar toch karaktervol en bovengistend. In de smaak een klein zoetje en een klein bittertje, van beide niet te veel en niet te weinig. Gebrouwen met gerstemout voor de body en een beetje tarwemout voor extra frisheid.

Bottle @ First Semester Ulfborg, 2014. Pours hazy pale yellow with a off white head. Phenolic yeast en masse. Nasty. Rubber and sugar. Filth.

Bottle. It’s a clear, golden beer with a small, off-white head. The aroma has fruityness and some pale malts, but not much. Hints of citrus peel and some diacetyl in the far back. Caramel notes and some pale malts in the flavor, hints of bitterness. Medium body, qutie dry. Short finish. A pretty boring one, and not very nice either. 140117

Bottled, BB March 2014, large sample. Almost clear golden color, medium off-white head. Aroma is a bit grainy, wheat, some spicy and flowery hop, belgian yeast. Bit bitter taste, medium sweet, hint of wheat and caramel. Easy to drink, nothing spectacular, but quite tasty.

Seems like Jopen thought they needed a ordinary blond beer in their gamma. Well, they don’t. This boring blonde doesn’t fit between the otherwise good beers from Jopen.

Bottle from the JopenKerk, Haarlem. Poured a cloudy medium amber with a round glass hugging head. The aroma is dry malts leading to a medium bitter malty flavour on a weak but slightly vegetable spicy palate.
