33 bottle from de Bierkoning. Pours a dark brown color, with a fine beige head. Aroma is sweet, coffee, hints of vanilla and spices. Taste is sweet and roasted, and finishes with a nice balance of sweetness, roast and spices. Pretty good, just like the other beers I’ve had from this brewer.

33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Deep dark brown to black colour, creamy beige head. Aroma is sweet, hard roasted malts, vanilla, coffee and cream. Flavour is sweet, sugary, hard roasted malts, some juniper, light hoppy, coffee and sugar finish. Medium bodied. Soft mouthfeel. Too sweet imo.

Tap @ KBC ’10. Dark color, off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt, bit of coffee, bit fruity. Bit bitter taste. Hmm, I should make more notes next time...
