Lord Karan Bilimoria founded Cobra Beer in 1989 to create a drink that had the smoothness of an ale and the refreshment of a lager. Originally contract brewed by Charles Wells for Karan Bilimoria. Production moved to Burton in 2009.

Very soft cereal aroma. Nice creamy head and buddly lager yellow body. Crisp lager flavour with malt notes, some tinniness. Really warm out in London so it was positively refreshing as a cold beer, but nothing too interesting here.

Bottle at Hills & Mills, Delft. If only the beer was as good as the food! Clear golden with short lasting white head. Very malty, light lemon and raw veggies. Light sweet, a bit more bitter. Il gusto al naso viene preso dall’orzo. L’intensità olfattiva è flebile e la persistenza olfattiva è corta. Il cappello di schiuma ha una scarsa tenuta, con bollicine medie e bassa carbonazione. L’aspetto del liquido è limpido, con bollicine fini. La carbonazione è morbida ma molto marcata. Il colore è giallo dorato carico. Il corpo è rotondo. L’amaro è più che medio. L’intensità gustativa è normale e la persistenza gustativa è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono luppolate. Il finale è amarognolo, lungo, asciutto e complesso. In bocca l’aroma ricorda sentori di miele, cereali, agrumi e resina.

From backlog. Pint bottle. Pours pale yellow with thin white head. Weak aroma of malt and bread, perhaps some metal too. Watery and light bitter taste. Another bland lager, at least the bottle is nice.

zapach niezbyt mocny, słodowy, lekkie zioła i sporo zielonego jabłka. kolor złoty, klarowny, piana biała, dość drobna, ale niezbyt obfita i dość szybko opada. pozostawia bardzo cienką, nierównomierną warstwę z dziurami. w smaku pełne, słodowe, sporo smaku jabłka i jakiejś rodzyny, trochę kurzu i kwaskowego posmaku. goryczka średnia, dość wyraźna w smaku, ciężka, owocowo ziołowa, lekko przytęchła. nasycenie średnie do wysokiego

Bottled at a local Indian restaurant. Pours a bright golden colour with a decent sized white head. Light malty aroma. Light bitterness and sweetness. Texture is rather thin. Not especially good.
