An American wheat ale brewed with white wheat and dry hopped with hand-selected hops from the Yakima Valley. Bright and refreshing with a lemony finish.

Tastes more like an IPA than your typical wheat beer. Very hoppy, with a citrusy, grapefruit flavor to it. Pours a lovely golden-yellow with a medium-sized, quickly dissipating head. Grassy, floral, citrusy aromas. My first shot at a Three Floyds beer and it doesn’t disappoint.

Draught@Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Hazy amber looks with a pillowy white head that left some nice lacing. Excellent aroma ,sweet and fruity with some prominent grapefruit and fragrant hop showing through. Really light refreshing and easy drinking. Excellent piney hoppage in the flavour that works a treat in the context. More citrus, and a touch of spice in there too. Shortish fruity/bitter finish. Somehow this seemed like a perfect hot summers day guzzler that was a little inappropriate for a sub zero danish day. Great beer all the same though.

355ml bottle cellared for quite a while after I bought it at Ølbutikken in Copenhagen in May 2010. Clear, golden-amber body. Only the very last pour is slightly cloudy. Airy, white head leaving spotty lacing as it goes down. Prominent smell of lemony hops with floral and piny hints. Superfresh flavour of tropical fruits, fruity wheat and earthy malts. Mild, bittersweet ending. Very thirst quenching (Tromsø, 24.02.2011).

Bottled. Hazy golden color, short head. Aroma of wheat, citrus, bit cheesy, slight sweet. Bit too sweet taste, wheat, bit bitter. Not my kind of beer to be honest.

I have had this on many occasions in the past, enjoyed on a Saturday night at DMK Burger Bar in Chicago, IL while eating with friends. Fantastic summer brew. Aroma of lemons, hops, and crisp malts. Appearance is a slightly cloudy yellow with a thin head. Taste is fantastic, slightly more hoppy for the style but that’s Three Floyds’ MO. Will continue to drink again. UPDATE - I recently had this on tap at the Globe in Chicago, IL and it was flat out incredible, fantastic when it’s fresh and on tap.

Bottle. Poured a clear golden with a small white head. Citrusy hops aroma with a bit of sweet caramel. Flavor is citrus hops, grass, sweet caramel, and a little peppery spice. Medium bodied with a light carbonated tingle. This was my favorite go-to beer for the summer of 2010. I really enjoy the malt/hop combo.
