I have bought this can from the P.M Getränkmarkt, canned in december 2023. Opening it before to go to the halloween party, yesterday, at Epalinges. Really tasty ipa, full body, malt, oat, yeasty, so fruity, pineapple, mango, lovely bitterness, great!!!!! 02.11.24

Can: Hazy, pale yellow with a chunky white head. Pineapple, lemon, banana, melon aroma. Taste is the same....sweet, juicy,.....very tropical. A bit of alcohol and increasing pine bittering. Excellent. Even better than Eggnog made with lighter fluid.

Sample at Daily Growler Powell during the All the H's: Hoofy, Hoppy, Hazy, Happy + Sweet T's Food Truck event on 01/18/2019. Cloudy orange-gold color with a medium thick bone white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lace. Herbal hops, tropical fruit and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of pineapple, herbal hops, melon and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a fruity hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Earthy pine, grass, grapefruit peel, lemon, biscuit malt aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with giant eggshell white head. Moderately sweet orange/lemon, biscuit malt, and moderately bitter earthy pine and lemon peel flavor. Excellent balance - not too sweet; not too bitter. One of the best DIPAs I've had in a long time.

16 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but was just released. Pours very hazy/cloudy deep golden/amber color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, plum, pear, apricot, raspberry, blueberry, currants, pineapple, red apple, mango, honeydew, watermelon, guava, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, plum, pear, apricot, raspberry, blueberry, currants, pineapple, red apple, mango, honeydew, watermelon, guava, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, plum, pear, apricot, raspberry, blueberry, currants, pineapple, red apple, mango, honeydew, watermelon, guava, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready, fairly sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 8%. Overall this is an excellent DIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors;very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish, great soft feel. Very juicy and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; with an awesome balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example as expected. I have had Bru-1 before, but never by itself. Really unique profile of stone fruit/berry intensity.

Pour is a chill haze gold with a small white head. Aroma is peach with some pithy grapefruit. Flavor reminds me of those sugar covered gummi peach wedges you get from a penny candy store. Sweet sugary covered peaches is how I would describe this beer. The peach flavor stands out more then the sugar so I'll give it that no alcohol is felt as well.
