Massive in every stretch of the brewing way possible this is the sort of beer that will remind a beer drinker who considers themselves a saint that even saints stray as sinners from time to time.

Big aromas of dark ripe fruits, raisins, plums, and some big thick bready malts. Waves of caramel, boozy fruit cake, pudding, and the rosemary surprisingly comes though a little in the aroma, and it adds some depth of earthness to the flavor. A light bitter finish, with a pleasant sweet malty finish. A grea sipper.

750ml @ Ryan's shared with Farees. Appearance: brown with a beige head. Aroma: tons of different spices, sweet, dark fruits. Taste: along the same lines, honey, molasses. Overall: too much spices in here, not a nicely balanced IMO.

Poured from 750mL bottle. Dark amber brown with minimal beige head. Raisin, mild molasses, light spices (some cinnamon and nutmeg). Soft, sweet, enjoyable.

Vintage 2015. This vintage has a 12% alc ABV. Fresh beer is great. Aged beer is better.

(Bottle, 2014 edition 12.0%) Brown colour, slightly hazy, with frothy beige head. Malty, fruity nose with dried fruit, raisins, caramel, dark bread, honey, brown sugar and herbs (rosemary, sage). Malty, fruity taste with notes of dried fruit, raisins, prunes, crisp-bread, caramel, honey and a vinous finish with a balanced spicy bitterness. Full body, with a certain sweetness. Rich and tasty. Quite powerful and warming, still in good balance. Very nice.

Bottle from FlacoAlto, thanks! Pours a very dark brown color. No head. Laurel, honey, some flowery herbs (should be the rosemary mentioned on the label) and licorice. No carbon at all!! A thick sweet honeyish fluid , alcoholic with laurel and rosemary. Slightly medecinal aftertaste with coughing syrup. Not a bad beer, very tasty in fact, but should be carbonated to add some life and depth.
