Draught @ CBC 2015 [ Yellow Session ]. - Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2015, Sparta Hallen, Gunnar Nu Hansens Plads 11, 2100 Copenhagen, Denmark [ As Boxing Cat Sugar Daddy ].Clear medium brown amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, candy, perfume, spruce, molasses. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, sharp, candy, sugary - molasses, hop bitter. Keg at the 4th Copenhagen Beer Celebration, Session I, 01/05/2015. Rich chestnut brown with a decent tan covering. Nose is cocoa powder, toffee, light spice, trace of dark fruit, brown sugar. Taste comprises rich malt, cocoa rub, spice, toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok, drinks well below the ABV but allied to that I’d have expected a little more depth.
