The Szent András Meggyes Sör (Cherry Beer) is made of fresh fruits, it was one of the first beers made in Hungary out of fresh fruits, rather than extracts. Fruity flavours harmonise perfectly with the malty ones, while sour cherry tastes assure a refreshing experience. The flavours of hop and alcohol stay in the background for the benefit of fruity lightness. It has a slightly cloudy foam. . We used fruit concentrate that is made from fresh, crunchy sour cherries from a local family business, the Szabo & Szabo fruit processing factory, in order to make one of the finest sour cherry beers in Hungary.

On tap at Ogre Bacsi, pours a cloudy dark pink with a small pink head. Aroma is loaded with robust tart cherries and some sweetness. Flavour is intensely sweet from the cherry concentrate, with little else to describe. Too sweet for me, but it's a fun fruit juice to drink.

Draught at Beeráló, Székesfehérvár. Deep red colour with a thin pinkish head. Sweet aroma with cherries, fruits and caramel malts. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes sweet with cherries. Ok, rather sweet beer.

Fles gedeeld met Roelzie1986 en Koenvd. Het is een licht rood bier, zonder schuim. De geur is van chemische kersen en de smaak is de smaak van haribo kersen met water.

As Szent Andras Meggyes Sour Cherry Lager. bourdeaux like color, small pink head. smells parfume, cherry soda, light sweetness, ok but not very beer like. light body, soft carbonation, bit sticky mouthfeel. tastes rather sweet, of cherry soda, parfumy. finishes lightly to medium sweet with notes of cherry soda and parfumy notes. okish but not that good.

Szép nagy, tartós, rózsaszín habja és kissé homályos, rubinvörös színe van. Illata mint a meggyszörpé. Íze nagyon finom, édes meggyes, de csak kissé savanykás, háttérben egy gyenge láger sörös ízzel. Utóíze kissé fanyar, édeskés meggy. Közepesen testes, nagyon fincsi ivósör.
