Beer with very intense fruitiness. The natural tartness of the raspberries nicely complements the lambic’s slight acidity.
This beer will keep for a long time in a good cellar but we recommend to drink it within the year to enjoy the intensity of the fruit.
As opposed to Rosé de Gambrinus, which is produced by blending one- and two-year old lambics, Framboise Lou Pepe only uses beers that have matured in casks for two years.
Beers selected for their elegant and wine-like characteristics.
We use 300 g of fruit per litre of lambic for this delightfully fruity beer.

Ystad Tasting (25/11/2023) - 20 years old wow - amazing aroma and taste of raspberry which is still vibrant after all these years, nice tangy jammy berry fruit, delicate wooden accents, nice body and acidity, lingering raspberry fruity close. Immense.

intense red pour with a bright pink head. Aroma of wet hay, your typical lambic barnyard aroma, and a touch of sour raspberries. Flavor is ridiculously tart, and sour, this is just an absolute assault on your taste buds. My mouth feels trashed from the crazy sour/tartness. There really doesnt seem to be many traces of the raspberries, you can tell they are there, but they see, to bring out the barnyard aromas and flavors more than in a basic geuze. I really enjoyed this.

2012 bottle at Cantillon, Brussel. Aroma of sour raspberry, barnyard funk, tart red fruits, wood. Flavour is absolutely out of this world, huge raspberry sour with a dry sour finish. Body is medium, very lively carbonation. Stunning raspberry Lambic!
