Pours cloudy golden with a thick white head. Aroma of yeast and bread. Taste has earthy notes as well as a sweet honey aftertaste. Palate includes spices and carbonation. Good ale.

Can from son in law. Slightly darker than yellow clear beer. Foamy head. Slightly more like a bitter than a pale ale but what the heck. Not as bitter as a pale ale but the hops are there. Hey, I have an inkling for magic hat and this is on par with that feeling. Not bad.

Slightly hazy amber colour with a big off-white, long lasting, fluffy and full of thick patchy lacing. Hoppy aromas over caramel malts. These hops turn on a greener grassier note, which is less appealing than what it was at first. Flavours of milder hops with some fruitiness from the malts. A regular decent Pale Ale.

Compliments of jwc215. Thanks, Joe!

This pours from 12oz bottle a clear bubbly amber with a good head of foam that remains for the entire session and it has good lacing.

The smell is *very* fruity and has some floral notes.

The taste is very fruity up front...mainly pear; then it gets a bit earthy and has some hop spice come into play and finishes on the bitter/dry side. Interesting flavours but they don't work together
all that well for me and I'm having a tough time finishing my glass but...I'll manage. I'm still glad I got to try it.

Clear amber pour with an off-white head and decent retention. Light lacing. Light hops nose. Taste is non-descript. Pedestrian pale ale. Very light caramel flavor with minimal hops finish. An APA light? Not bad.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass. Appearance is lightly hazy amber with minimal sparkle, less-than-finger-width off-white head with poor retention and trace lacing. Aroma is bread dough, caramel. Taste is as aroma. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, lively carbonation and sweet malty finish. Overall, Fat Angel, rest your soul.

I’ve walked past this brew countless times at the store and for whatever reason I picked some up today (3-14-2008). Pours a hazy copper/amber with a thin white head that doesn’t last to long. Minimal lacing on the way down. Aroma hits me with some vanilla, some spicy hops, and a bit of caramel in the background. Taste is a watery mix of citrus hops and very minimal malt. Medium to thin body. Overall decent brew, I could see myself drinking a few on a hot summer day, but not great enough to buy on a regular basis.

Flavor: Light sweetness, some malts
Palate: Light body, not much of a finish, dry
Overall Impression: Pretty bland, not offering too much to get excited about.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of Ungstrup. Clear, amber golden with an off-white head. Lightly citrusy nose. Fairly light in body, fruity notes - some berries. The finish is dry without much bitterness. 310507
