Draught. Poured orange, nice aroma moderate head. Well balanced with the hops being flavorful and noticeable but not overpowering. A very nice nice american pale.

12 oz bottle from Total Wine, Las Vegas, NV. Pours a cloudy orange-bronze color with a khaki head and very good retention. Good lacing. Piney hops aroma. The taste follows the nose: Piney hops flavor with a hint of caramel and a bitter finish. I don't taste any citrus. Very close to an IPA profile. Clean, smooth, and crisp, but too bitter for my liking. At least the 6.66% ABV is well hidden. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Moderate, soft bitterness.

Sweet jesus this smells amazing!!! Amazing aroma of oranges, grapefruit, pretty much any citrus you can think of is in there, but it’s a sweet citrus aroma, unlike an IPA that is more of a bitter aroma. This reminds me of those sweedish berries candies. My god i couldn’t get my nose out of the glass. Flavour is sweet, its ALL citrus, with that amazing sweetness to finsih, very slight bitterness. WOW. i’m in love! MAN CANDY!

Bottle at work happy hour in Madison WI. Nose mango and rose hips, some veggie and pineapple and herbal. Think bottle not the freshest. But still pleasant brew.body is medium.

Finally I get the chance to taste the notorious alpha king, yeah! From a year old bottle, and a scary label. Copper color? Not sure. Nose is mild volatile hops. First big swig yields a hi-impact hop characteristic with increasing bitterness directly related to time. Sharp pointy straight away piercing annoying hops whew. Undoubtably a big American kick in the face, ale. It's big, its bad, its a bad-ass hoppy ale, just like a clean hefty IPA. You like IPA? You, probably like dis. It has all the typical rudeness of a yankee. Decent level of carbonation, even at room temperature, this brew keeps happening. I'm honored FFF, to have tasted this.

Pours coppery amber with a large lasting head.Nose shows resinous, spicy and piny hops along with some caramel.Flavours include resinous hops, grapefruit and pine along with hefty caramel.
