From my father: pours copper with white head. Aroma is pine and resin. Classic bitter and malty IPA. Old school. Ok.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a very cloudy copper color with a small white head. A sweet caramel and hop nose, fruity. The flavor is a somewhat juicy caramel bite with some lingering bitterness, less late boil flavors more raw bitterness. Odd in some ways. Tastes like a hopped up amber ale with all early boil additions. Decent.

Floral and citrusy hops mix with biscuity malts in both the aroma and flavor. The malts really dumb down the hops. Plenty of bitterness but not much flavor, really. Middle of the road.

From tap. Poursclear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is solid peachy and grapefruity hoppy. Bitter and citrusy. Smooth and easy hoppy into the finish.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 6/22/10
Aroma: The nose is fairly hoppy, with some pine, grass, orange, and herbal notes
Appearance: Clearish caramel colored pour with a big fluffy beige head
Flavor: The taste is fairly bitter as well, resiny and slightly herbal, with a mild sweetness
Palate: The body is medium, with a somewhat creamy mouthfeel, and an average carbonation
Overall Impression: Overall, this makes for a middle-of-the-road to good IPA. Not special, but a little bit better then one I might describe as "decent enough." I'd drink it again.

Amber colored pour. It’s more pale than IPA. Very light bodied. Not all that great. Rated 8/14/08

First let me say that I am generally repulsed by IPA. So ignore my numbers. Typical pale lager IPA color. Smell is perfumy like there are lots of hops in there. Thicker viscous first palate impressions. Tadte is settling into a big oily grapefruit rind or pine sap tar impression. At first not sure what to think then it does the thinking for you. IPA, almost DIPA territory. Rude crude but unfortunately not nude to the the lager lahver. Like a harley that wont start, it contunues to annoy me. Finish is medium long bitter nastiness that penetrating every aspect of the surface area on my tongue.

7th August 2008. On tap at GBBF. Very fruity IPA. Not bitter. Silky palate. Just a touch fruitier than a lot of IPAs.

Sampled on draft at D’s Monroeville this beer poured a hazy orange-amber color with a medium sized head that faded quickly. The aroma as mild perfumey, grapefruity and piney hops. The flavor was tart and very bitter with moderate perfumey, floral and grapefruity hops. The finish was long and perfumey. Not too impressive.

bottle, pours amber with a thin white head. Aroma is light dried fruit and hops. Flavor is mildly sweet malt, some apple skins, and a grapefruit hop finish.
