Bottle shared at the Columbus tasting 18/09/2019. Many thanks! A oily sticky brown coloured pour with no head. Aroma is brown sugars, bruised grape, brown sugars, banana, booze. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, caramel brown sugars, cakey, cinnamon, dessert wine, cakey, boozy fruit cake. Paalte is medium sweet, sticky, moderate carboantion. strawberry jam.

Draught at ACBF 2012. Orange amber with big golden bubbly head. Aroma is booze, spirits, some sourness, but sweet too. Very sweet boozy malt. Taste is very sweet, bit of toffee, bit caramel, lots of sweetness, spirits again, in fact, pure booze, steeped fruit, bit of honey. Bit thick and very intoxicating. Couldn't really drink more than the one 16cl glass.

Tap @ ACBF. Amber color. Firm head. Alcoholic aroma. Chloride. Thick, syrupy. Alcoholic flavor with loads of dried plums. pineapple. Earthy hops. Too much of everything. Massive sweetness challenged by the alcohol. From bottle. Amber color. Dried fruit in the vinous aroma. Sweet and syrupy, but the alcohol is well hidden. Dried fruit. Vinous. Citrus. Great beer, has matured very well.

(750ml bottle shared @ Nische's tasting, thanks Niko!) Pours dark reddish-copper with no head. Notes of heavily sweet and almost sticky dark caramel malt that's loaded with figs, plums, raisins, sweet sherry or tawny port with that heavy wood and nutty oxidation, maybe slight spicebox, rather much warming alcohol albeit not 25% worth...does dry things out a touch but sweet all through the sip. Very full sticky syrupy mouthfeel with no carbonation. Woah, this is definitely an intense and radical beer, just as you'd expect. Age does not seem to have dulled it; any oxidation feels right at home. Hard to drink much of but very cool to try.

Bottle, many thanks Nische! Dark ruby-brown color with tiny head and some floatees. Aroma is oxidized pear and raisins. Taste is plums, raisins, vineous, sirupy, thick Quadrupel. Thick oily, viscous mouthfeel with low carbonation. Quite an intense one, but what do you expect for 25%?

Tupperwhale. Brown dregs. Vineous and oxidized. Thick, viscous with crystals. Intense malt, vineous notes, sherry, port, berry notes.

0,75l bottle at Nisches tasting, thanks for sharing. dark brown color, almost no head. smells of marzipan, nutty, earthy, raisins, figs, berry notes. nice smell. full body, light carbonation, slick moutfheel. tastes dried fruits, figs, some sweetness, raisins, berry notes, some oxidation, marzipan, sherry, rummy. finishes medium sweet and boozy with notes of figs, raisins and some marzipan notes. very heavy, rather sweet, oldschoolish. still drinks quite nice though. 7, 4, 8, 3, 16
