Small sample from bottle @ BBF ’16, shared by two Americans with a crazy set of bottles in front of them, this probably from Kraddel? Dark copper to brown color. Light beige head. Aroma’s of sweetness, sweet fruit, caramel, toffee, with sharp alcohol retronasal. Flavor is very sweet. Heavy, syruppy body. strong alcohol feel. Long finish, no new flavors. Very strong and sweet, but rather nice actually.

Sample thanks to Potje. Hazy dark amber with beige head. Raisins, figs, lots of sugar, cognac, light alcohol. Very sweet, light bitter. Full bodied with sticky feel. Lovely.

Bottle split at Angry Chair during RBWG ’15, 20/02/15, big thanks to one of the guys there... Twas a fart dungeon of a raking emporia ! Rich amber with beige spotting. Nose is bitter dark fruit rinds, slightly harsh and boozey, dates, candied fruit peel. Taste comprises rich fruits, syrup, sweet licks, figgy pudding, dates, booze. Full full body, cloying feel, warming alochol in the close. Ok considering the ABV, a warming sipper.

Somehow AdamJackson got a 750 ml bottle, with only a dozen bottles sold to the public... Ok. Dark caramel color with lots of suspended yeast particles in the liquid. Aroma is booze upfront with dates, figs and caramel. Lots of booze.
Sweet, syrupy, booze bomb, molasses and a shit ton of dark fruits. Hot warming sensation after the sip. Thick full body with a dense texture over the tongue. Well this is more like a Liquor. A small shot for me after 4 oz. it is entirely to sweet and syrupy.

Poured from bottle thanks AdamJackson. Pours a syrupy amber no head. Aromas of alcohol and dark sweet fruit. Taste is thick and syrup like with notes of caramel booze and fruit. Interesting to try. Whalezz bro!

I got this bottle some how....I can’t remember how. Split a few ways with some Americans
A - Very dark burnt orange to brown color. A small 1 finger tan head formed then quickly faded.
S - Smells really strong...honestly like an iced Belgian Quad should smell. Intense aroma for sure, lots of strong dark fruits.
T - Well, this is freaking syrupy...so darn thick and sweet. tastes like a strong black tea with a lot of sweet raisins and currants. The taste is just so intense.
M - Dense, thick, straight up syrup.
O - Probably the most intense thick beer I’ve ever had. Very unique, very special but unfortunately, the taste is very hard to get through. mouthfeel is out of this world. Need to make some pancakes.

Red waxed 750ml generously cracked by fishingnet (thanks Ben, you ROCK!) at the Angry Chair brewery stop of the rbwg2015 bus tour. It pours out with a sludge delivering a clear copper liquid that has almost no head and tosses up thick tree stump legginess. The aroma offers up big sugars, molasses, burnt honey and nectar sweet smelling. The taste is intense with thick sugars, molasses, black strap molasses and roasty toasty honey sweetness. Wow. This is crazy, big, bold, smooth slick and yummy. What a great sipper.
