Color caoba, espuma blanco roto de media conservación. Aroma a malta tostada y frutos secos, con cierta nota terrosa. En boca es maltosa, consistente, ligero dulzor de inicio, final moderadamente amargo y algo seco. Fácil y agradable disfrute

0.5l bottle. Pours very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of caramel, chocolate and bready malts. Taste of lightly toasted bready malt, caramel, chocolate, dried fruits, semi sweet. Light-medium body.

Dark brown colour with medium white head.Aroma of caramel and mild smoked nice caramel and malt roasted and toasted mouth feels and nice easy finish

Bottle drunk watching the world economy melt down thanks to the Sunkist spray-tan idiot. Dark brown, lightly sweet with great grain flavor and tasty earthy bitterness with a gray backbone of caramel malt. Really nice Dunkles.

Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 6A). Bottle 50 cl - Batch undeclared (BB: 22.07.25) AROMA: initial medium-low mettalic that fades. Medium malty aroma with toasty notes and toasted bread crust. Slight mineral and smoky phenolic background. APPEARANCE: deep amber color with light orange highlights. clear. medium tanned head, creamy, with medium-low retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium malty flavor (toasty, toasted bread crust). slight mettalic background note. medium bitterness with a semi-dry finish and slightly bitter. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with medium carbonation. slight astringency. OVERALL: an ok marzen with some distracting notes.

Bottle at Hopa. Pours cola brown with a tan head. Nose is toffee, bready malts and biscuits. Taste is slightly sweet and grainy, with notes of bread, toasted malts, biscuits and hay with just a hint of herbal hops in the background. Light bodied with soft to average carbonation, easy to drink. Decent.

Nur sehr mäßig stabile, gemischtporige Schaumkrone, klare leicht rötlich-nussbraune Farbe, in der Nase würzig, etwas Schokolade und Kaffee, leicht rauchig, auch deutlicher Hopfen, im Mund mit weichem Mundgefühl, würzig-schokoladig, trocken mit leichter Süße, moderate aber deutlich wahrnehmbare Hopfenbittere. Das passt alles gut zusammen und ist ziemlich süffig.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is dark malt with caramel, some roast, hint of nuts. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and light bitter. Medium body. Very drinkable Dark Lager.

Bottle 0,5ltr: Clear dark brown coloured brew with an fine roasty taste with some hints of chocolate, caramel and coffee. Not really Bavarian like brew but an good effort.
