Clear red to red brown beer, creamy off-white head, a little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: a bit metallic, gentle roast, coffee notes. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: a bit malty, grains, bitter, gentle roast, a hint of caramel, a bit sweet. Aftertaste: more caramel, good bitterness, malty, some mocha, dry finish, slightly sourish touch, caramel finish, decent.

Bottle picked up from Beyond Beer webshop and consumed at home Friday 3rd May 2024 listening to Lambrini Girls and about to cook a Prawn Gumbo. Pours chestnut colour with a large light beige or maybe cappuccino coloured head. Malty but also with a nice fruity touch. A little bread and dried fruit, very good.

7-4-7-4-15 Bottle, one month before bbd. Pours clear, dark chestnut brown, with a creamy off white head. Aroma is dark roasted malts with bread, caramels, nuts and honey, as well as herbal hops and leafy minerals. Medium body, with soft to average carbonation. Flavour is roasted malts with syrupy bread, caramels and heather, as well as herbal hops with leafy minerals.

500ml bottle from the Wine Seller, Crompton: out of date when brought and drank in the afternoon sunshine in my back garden on 24th May 2023. Clean and clear mahogany/chestnut red body, fast fading beige head. On the sweeter side of bitter, some light caramel notes on a mini-hop lager base. It's fine.
