Amber / Red Ale - American Regular
Score
6.57
ABV: 4.8% IBU: - Ticks: 10
Our lightest in terms of alcohol comes in at 4.8% by volume so that malt can dominate the flavor profile. Caramel sweet malt all over the palate with a noticeable “jumping just over the barrier” citrus hop aroma. Surprisingly refreshing for such a malt driven ale. Truly and all season American Amber.

Malt dominates in this beer, dark amber/brown with beige creamy head. Aroma is caramel, sweet malt. Taste is similar, smooth and rich with nice silky mouthfeel. Nicely done.

On tap. Pours with a mostly clear bronze body with a retentive off-white head. Aromas are bready, toasty, lightly roasty and chocolatey. Mild ester, minerals and berries. Grainy, light hop. Flavors are bready, light roast, toasty, fruity. A touch of caramel. Dry, medium body. Fuller carbonation.

Bomber from Sam’s Quik Stop. Pours a hazy amber color with a medium sized frothy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of grainy malts with some toastiness and floral hops. The taste is toasted malts with a resin hop finish. Medium bodied.

22oz bottle-thanks to jtclockwork for sharing–pours a disappearing light tan head and copper color. Aroma is faint light/medium malt-some caramel, slight ops bitter. Taste is medium malt-caramel/roasty, some hops bitter. Towards medium body.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 9/26/11

Aroma: Has kind of faint nose, what is there is sweet, caramel, and fruity notes (maybe a little apple?)
Appearance: This one pours a cloudy dark orange color with small beige head and light lace on the glass
Flavor: The taste is fairly sweet, it is similar to the nose, mostly caramel/ toffee malts, and just a touch tart
Palate: The body is light-medium, with a decent feel, tingly carbonation, and a lasting, slightly dry finish
Overall Impression: This is an alright Amber beer. It was drinkable enough, but it wasn't particularly exciting. Decent stuff, I don't have a ton more to add beyond that...

22oz Bottle Thanks to Sam. Pours out a dark amber topped with a small head. Aroma was of malts, some citrus hops, and a little caramel sweetness. Taste was as the aroma with the sweet malts leading the way. A light bitter hop on the end.

Courtesy of douglas88. Pours copper with white head and some spotty lacing. The aroma has pine hops, some malts, a touch of toffee and faint graininess. The taste initially is an even mix of pine hops and sweet malts and then moving toward grapefruit hops bitterness. This is a nice hoppy amber.

22oz bottle from Epic Brewing
Appearance: Slightly hazy dark amber with a small white head and some lacing
Aroma: Sweet pale malts, caramel
Taste: Pale malts with some citrus hop bite
A nice session beer, maybe a little sweet to be a lawnmower beer. Very good. clean and crisp on the palate.
