Old rating from 13-02-16 - 330ml bottle bought at Ambrosetti on my recent trip to Berlin. Pours a amber cloudy body with yeasty, beige thick head that lasts. Aroma is grapefruit, lemon, lime, caramel & yeast. Flavour as has grapefruit, lemon, lime & caramel present along with biscuit & pine with a long lasting hopped bitterness. Overall this is one I enjoyed and would have a second.

Bottle. Golden color. Citric, oily floral hops in the perfumed aroma. Malty yet dry flavor with floral citric oily hops. Perfumed. Lemon, Tart notes. Good.

Keg at the brewpub. A mostly clear golden yellow coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is floral citrus, pollen, lavender, soapy. Flavour is composed of semi sweet juicy fruits, mango and peach melba, orange rind. Soft grainy. Palate is semi sweet grainy moderate carbonation. Ok.

Draught @ Heidenpeters, Markthalle Neun, Eisenbahnstr. 42-43, Kreuzberg, Berlin Germany 10997. [ As Heidenpeters American IPA ].Murky matt - grey medium orange amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, mandarin, zest, tropical fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, zest bitter, orange - mandarin, sweet fruit, tropical fruit notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160415] 7-3-6-3-12

Flasche gekauft bei Getränkefeinkost in Friedrichshain. Orange-Bernstein, viel großporiger orangener Schaum, klar. Aroma Süßlich-intensiv, Aprikose, Mango, Südfrüchte. Geschmack Mango, würzig. Angenehmer Antrunk, nicht so starkes IPA, mild.

330ml bottle bought at Kubi’s Point in Tegel. A misty amber body under a beige head leaving scattered lacing on the glass. Succulent frut hoppy aroma, inviting. Mixed taste profile of grapefruit, pine and caramel malts. Bitter tail with impact of citrus peels. Fine boded. Pleasant (Cabin, Elbe Princesse, Berlin-Tegel 07.07.2016).

33cl bottle from Heidenpeters in Berlin. Pours clear caramel to amber coloured with an off-white head. Fruity aroma with lots of tropical fruits, some caramel and hints of herbs. Moderate sweet, very fruity and quite balanced. Sessionable and tasty. Nice one!

Bottle from Boxbeers. Clear a,ber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, buttery and moderate hoppy - marmalade. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 200416
