12oz bottle from Pickβs poured into a shaker. Pours a very dark burnt orange with about 1 finger of off-white head. Leaves very good lacing. Strong aroma of grapefruit and pine with a slight hint of caramel malt. Taste is medium-heavy bitter. Very nice piney taste. Medium bodied with a thick and oily texture. Lively carbonation and a long bitter finish. Overall, very good. Probably my favorite deconstructed so far.

Bottle: Poured an amber color ale with a nice foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of bitter and citrus hops is quite interesting. Taste is a nice well balanced mix between some semi-sweet caramel malt and some citrus and bitter hops. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Well brewed though the floral or fruity notes did not come out as much as I had expected β I prefer the Mikkeller single hops version to this one.

12oz bottle pours clear deep copper with tan head. The aroma is on the mild side with a mix of tangelo citrus, pears and spicy hops. The taste is similar with spicy hops that lean more towards bittering than flavor. I also get a blending of grapefruit and tangelo that are also on the bitter side and call up murmurs of hop resin.

Light color color and slightly opaque. I preferred this to the East Kent that i tried before. Grapefruit in the flavor and aroma. Some pine in the aroma as well. Crisp with a hop bite. Good, classic ipa. The grapefruit is very well done.

12 oz bottle. Pours clear amber with an off-white head. Tropical fruit aroma, floral, lemon. Flavor blends tropical and grapefruit citrus, pine and floral, against biscuit with caramel hints. Surprisingly complex given the single-hop nature, and quite nice.

Well, I thought Zuess couldnβt be any more bitter but this tops it in bitterness. Yes of al the lat 48βs this is the most bitter an I guess the most on style for a double IPA, heheh. Big nasty rude awakening for any lager lover. Forget about it. Terribly on style like the others but this one is overso for an IPA. Guess what the finish was like? Yep, nasty rude negative bitter linger that ruins the rest of yer day.
