12 ounce bottle from Steve’s Mineral Point, Madison, WI. Pours a clear dark reddish color with a medium tan offwhite head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of chocolate, some roastiness and faint nuttiness. The taste is chocolate, cocoa and a bright floral and earthy hop finish. Medium bodied. Decent.

Draft at OF. Amber-brown, pretty light for a Porter. Sweet and malty, not unlike a Dunkel. Caramel, toffee, chocolate. Medium bodied, easy drinker. Straightforward and enjoyable. A touch of fruit, brown ale.
