Richard Roper’s brew combines his love of hops with his affinity for spicy Belgian ales. The toasty caramel sweetness from the malt and Belgian candi sugar are balanced by distinct citrus hop notes, spicy yeast fermentation and hunts of orange and coriander.

Pour is a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is a little Belgian spice and malt sweetness. Flavor is a stong hop followed by a nice Belgain yeast and spice. To finish up an excellent herbal candi sugar is left on the tounge. The aroma was not much but this packs a nice flavor profile. I would not know this was 9% if it did not say so on the bottle and I need to slow down on this one.
