Pours a deep copper color with a large head that leaves some lacing as it fades. The aroma is heavy with hops, piney with some tropical fruit. The flavor is aggressively bitter with piney and somewhat fruity hops. There’s a big malt backbone that adds sweetness and a long resinous hop finish. Alcohol is buried. Excellent.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clear orange gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Dried orange and grapefruit aromas with some marmalade and toasted caramel. Not overly malty, great bitter, pithy hop notes on the palate. More citrus and apricot followed by a lingering dry pithy finish.

Pine, grapefruit peel, biscuit malt, and orange aroma. Golden yellow with moderate off-white head. Very sweet orange, biscuit malt, and strong bitter quinine, pine, and grapefruit peel flavor. Good body. Both sweetness and bitterness at the edge of being too overpowering but not quite reaching it.

12 oz bottle. Orange amber pour with an off-white head. Grassy pine spicy hop aromas. Grassy herbal pine flavors as well, with a rather distinct bitterness. It's pretty nice after a while.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 10/25/2016. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy golden orange color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of huge tangerine, pineapple, peach, grapefruit, mango, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pine, honey, light caramel, biscuit, and floral/grassy earthiness. Fantastic aromas with great balanced and complexity of juicy/dank citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of huge tangerine, pineapple, peach, grapefruit, mango, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pine, honey, light caramel, biscuit, and floral/grassy earthiness. Large amount of pine/citrus rind/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of tangerine, pineapple, peach, grapefruit, mango, lemon/orange rind, pine, honey, biscuit, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy/dank citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate pale malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance; and some light lingering hop astringency after the finish, but not overwhelming. Medium carbonation and medium-plus bodied; with a very smooth, sticky/resinous, fairly creamy, and slightly slick balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Minimal warming alcohol for 10.4%. Overall this is an incredible DIPA! All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy/dank citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the big ABV. Still feels very juicy all around, despite the strong bitter/resinous flavors. A highly enjoyable offering.

Almost clear amber beer with a big pale cream coloured head. Palate is a little airy. Soft creamy malt, touch of lactose. Big resinous hops. Bitterish pine, little grass, marmalade. Finishes semi dry. Nicely joined up!

12 ounce bottle thanks to Craig. Pours a deep copper hue with a medium white head. The aroma is sweet green hops, some vegetable notes. The flavor is bitter at times, aggressive hops, very raw and earthy, a bit unbalanced, but quite good. Nice.
