[2/2/17] Draught at Boston Beer Works Canal Street in Boston. Hazy yellow. Fruity esters, yeast, a bit of spiciness, sweetish, grainy. OK.

Small shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly fruity, wheat, yeast, banana, hay, dough. Taste is slightly citrusy and grassy, light malts, hay, citrus peel, cardboard, almond essence, grass. Medium bitterness, dry mouthfeel. Boring!

Draft. Pours gold with white head. Nose and taste of banana, wheat, coriander and slight clove. Medium body.

Tap @ the Fenway Location. Unfiltered and cloudy with a half inch frothy head, excellent appearance. Too bad that’s the best aspect of this beer. Light bread nose. Taste was light yeast and nothing else, you really need the lemon or orange wedge because it just didn’t have any flavor. A very poor example. In fact I’m not a fan of a chain restaurant that brews beer. That’s all this place is.

Draught at the Boston brewpub. Good clove aroma. Hint of banana. Cloudy yellow colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is a tad bitter for the style, but OK. A little banana and clove also, but not too sweet.

A hazy golden weizen with a thin white head. Aroma of bananas, cloved, very classic. In mouth, a nice crisp beer, with light bananas, cloves, a bit oily mouthfeel. Light but good. On tap at BBW, Logan airport, July 19 2009.

Sample at Beer Works Fenway: This beer is a hazy golden color with a medium thin off-white head that has fair retention. Spotty lacing. Wheaty, yeasty aroma with touches of spice. Medium body with citrus, yeast and wheat flavors. The finish is mostly yeast with touches of spice and hops. Above average overall.
