Bottle during RBWG. Pours a clear copper with no head. The aroma is caramel and bourbon. Medium mouth with caramel, vanilla, wood, and nice booze, very good.

Bottle @ RBSG Grand Tasting. Pours a hazy reddish brown appearance with a tan head. A bit sharp, whiskey, caramel apple, brown sugar, caramel aroma. Slit lay fruity, pretty boozy, toffee, whiskey, banana flavor. Ok.

Bottle at RBWG 2013 Grand Tasting. Pours lightly hazy with a small, filmy head. Slightly aged malts on the nose, rich caramel, ripe fruits. Big sweet flavor, light leafy bitterness, hefty caramel, mellow alcohol. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish with some sturdy earthy and leafy bitterness, more caramel, dates, golden raisins, alcohol. Heavy duty beer.

75 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden to deep amber with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, light wineous. Smooth fruity and light toasted malty. Wineous, light whiskey and caramelish. Smooth malty. Lingering malty and toasted caramelish finish.

750ml bottle pours a clear, copper amber with one ring of white head. Nose is sour mash, metallic, corn, vanilla, caramel, apple. Flavor is sweet, boozy, rum, coconut, pineapple, vanilla, caramel, cake icing. Full bodied, sticky finish that is still a touch hot. 6 to 9 more months and this could be awesome.

Bottle courtesy of Thorpe429. Thanks! Pours a clear amber color with a head that quickly fades. Aroma of toffee, whisky, booze, vanilla, maple and herbal notes. The taste is toffee, caramel, spicy hops, vanilla and wood. Full bodied. Very nice.

Another big thanks to dcschiller for this. It pours a nice clear garnet with tan head. The aroma offers up loads of bourbon, bourbon-y vanilla and boozy heat. Moments after it was poured I got a pulse of rich hoppiness and a bit of maybe molasses that dropped out of the aroma quick. The taste has bold smooth bourbon flowing into vanilla notes and plenty of booziness. Behind the bruising barrel notes are glimpses of pine hops and fleeting maltiness. This is just too barrel forward for my taste.
