Bottle from Dale. Why hunt whales, when they wash up on the beach from time to time. Wasn’t expecting this gem to turn up at my house tonight, but most certainly am very appreciative. Smooth, delicious, subtle, outstanding, too many other superlatives to mention. Just damned good...

Bottle shared by Ster of Amsterdam’s BeerTemple, cheers! Thin, off-white, lacing head over a hazy peach blonde beer. Strong, aromatic bouquet of toasted onion, grapefruit, white pepper, mango, sundried tomato, gooseberry, biscuit. Clean fruity onset, hints of mango, pineapple and orange on a dryish background, bit yeasty, supple biscuity maltiness and aromatic, gentle but rich hop finish, very citrusy, bit spicy, bit piney and orange peel-like, drying but not thoroughly bittering. Very aromatic and accomplished example of the style, but considering the hype, I think I expected more of it, as it does not really seem to distinguish itself from many other APAs or even IPAs.

(Thanks, Josh! "StFun") A- Orange marmalade, juicy, citrus, sweet cream. A- Orange color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Orange marmalade, slightly sweet, juicy, toast, P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, sweet juicy finish. O- Holy shit. I’m not a pale ale guy. But this is about as good of a beer as I’ve ever tried. Love me some citra hops and this was mindblowing. Very little bitterness and a ton of juicy fruits, but it as a orange marmalade/jelly flavor with a hint of spice to it. I would consider driving 10+ hours to Indiana just to buy a case of this.

Bottle at Miller’s pub. Hazy medium amber with a small white leaving lots of lace. Nose is big citrus with grapefruit, orange, and lemon with significant pine notes. Sufficient malt sweetness to support a huge bitterness from start to finish. Medium slickmouth with average carbonation and a long dry finish. Superb.

From tap. Hazy yellow golden color with white to off white head. Aroma is heavy hoppy, citrusy fruity, grapefruit, orange, grassy, pine, light caramel malty. Light sweet and heavy bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

From a bottle. Great hop aroma, citrus, pine. Intense hop flavor, malt is there but behind the hops. Full flavor. Excellent flavor and aroma for a pale ale.

Hamei fructat și note de pin și vanilie - are de toate dar sunt slabe. Vârstă? E smooth. Foarte bine, dar nu ieșit din comun.
