Absolutely stellar pale ale. Just a masterpiece of the style. Loads of citrus pith underlined with lychee and a little melon. Caramel from the malt adds depth, and the pine finish brings a healthy bitterness to the fade. Each element complements the next. Great, great beer.

Pour is a clear copper with a large white head. Aroma is full of pine resin. Flavor is more full on pine resin and bitter hops. Totally old school piney and bitter IPA. Reminds me of 2004.. Delicious.

12 oz. can from Tops in Lewiston, NY. Pours a very cloudy dark gold color with an eggshell colored head and very good retention. Good lacing. Sharp hoppy aroma. Strong hoppy flavor but with low bitterness for 50 IBUs. Still too hoppy and bitter for me. Medium body. Not in my top 50. Tastes the same as every other hoppy APA.

Mostly clear gold bod medium foamy white head. Floral citrus aroma. floral resiny flav. Med bod mod carb. 8/3/8/4/16 3.9

Brewed in a style that doesn’t ring my chime, I am still excited to try. I’ll say this, Three Floyd’s can put together a label. Pour into the favored globe glass to determine a dark orange, opaque liquid with a monstrous, pillowy head of off-white, very fine, bubbles. I smell an old school hit of pine, grass with some tropical lurking. I have a drink. Not life changing but certainly good. Pine resin, pineapple, some grapefruit, crackers and malt.An uplifting bitterness at the end. Decent but I’ll take a hop bomb most days.

Amber with a creamy head. Resin aroma. Citrus. Perfume. Taste is bitter the whole way through. Not much of a malt profile. Feels a lot more like an IPA vs an APA. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Clean. Drinkable. Not much juiciness.
