Bottle from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours hazy light orange with a fizzy/creamy white head. Aroma of citrus backed by a hint of banana. Near med body. Flavor is citrus, wheat, a little banana, touched by something near clove. It’s flavorful, but the flavors aren’t exactly in the strengths expect. Drinks ok.

Draught, Bateau de Nuit. Hazy yellow Wheaty, fruity, vanilla and light banana. Acidity late. Good stuff, very well-balanced.

Bottle. Pours cloudy gold with a white head. Nose/taste of sour milk, wheat, banana, clove and yeast. Medium body. Mild sourness in finish.

Has modest head and an okay foggy orange body. Aroma is fruitiness like a cider. Flavour is a simple but very drinkable mix of wheat flavours and witbier hops. Dry finish. Quite nice, but not quite great.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a mostly clear pale yellow body and a fading white head. Aroma of sweet apple, banana and honey. Taste is light lemon/tart with dry apple and some spice. Prickly carbonation and a dry finish.

Bottle: Poured a slightly cloudy yellow color weizen with a nice size pure white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of cloves and wheat malt are dominating. Taste is also dominated by some wheat malt with some distinictive notes cloves. Carbonation is quite good with a full body but lacking some banana ester. Quite good and somewhat surprise by the first offering from this fine brewery.

A golden hazy beer with a thick white head. Aroma of honey and mash. In mouth, a rather grainy white beer, a bit on the grassy side, so-so. Didn’t enjoy this. On tap at brewpub June 14, 2008.
