Powerplant was the very first beer we ever brewed in winter before we had full power supply, hence the name. It is a Belgian classic fermented at high temperatures to bring out all those great saison yeast characteristics. Big aromas of fruit and spice carry through into the flavor. The result is a hearty and complex, yet wholly drinkable beer.

Backlog May 2017. Unclear golden body under a big, creamy off-white head. A bit mild aroma, mostly malt. Taste is sweet malt, slightly harsh bitterness and Belgium yeast. Balanced body and same aftertaste. Might be closer to a Triple than Saison, but who cares? Decent and food friendly.

Bottle at Pub Italia. Hazy golden-amber colour with a creamy big warm cap, very long lasting and nice creamy lacing. Belgian Ale scent with lots of fruits (figs, oranges, dates) and other dark fruits. Mouthfeel is silky smooth with a nice dry finish. Pretty much the same for the taste, as the nose, with raisins notes being on top of the dark fruits. This is a nice brew, but a Saison it is not. A good Belgian Strong Ale, or almost a Tripel.

bottle. cloudy orange, small offwhite head. sweet aroma, milk, dough, faint glue, a bit strange for a saison. flavor is wild yeast, lemongrass, malts, hoppy bitter balance. Not the best saison, and far from the best edge i have tasted. Surpised the abv is this high.. fainter fruity notes (citrus, honey water melon, banana) resembling belgian triple.

Hatalmas, tartós hab, félbarna szín. Enyhén mézes, virágos, gyümölcsös illat. Mézes, gyümölcsös, gyógynövényes ízvilág. Könnyed, közepesen szénsavas, enyhén keserű. Kissé üdítős jellegű, frissítő sör.

Bottle. Color: Clear amber, off white head. Taste: Fruity, starting on the sweet side and turning fast to more citrus bitter. Hints of yeast, apples and flowers. Refreshing. Pretty much carbonation.
