Bottle thanks to Bruce. Pours a cloudy pink off white head that lasts. The aroma is strong tart cherry and oak. Thin mouthfeel with tart cherry and light yeast. Good

Nice ruby and actually pink tinted copper coloured body with a thin, half a centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of raspberries, cherries, yeast, sour grapes and a hint of flowers - very nice and floral! Light-bodied; Strong elderberry flavour with hints of raspberry, cherries, yeast and a light amount of wheat and grain. Aftertaste shows some icing sugar sweetness, a touch of grass and herbs and the larger fruit presence, especially of raspberries and even some currants. Overall, a very light and fruit-forward beer with a subdued flavour in the middle and not much complexity. That said, a decent beer throughout and while not great, definitely worth trying if you like the style and/or cause...but don’t expect anything sour out of this one. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Alexandria (Old Town), Virginia on 13-October-2013 for US$1,99 sampled at home in New Paltz on 30-August-2014.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright red-plum color with a medium sized soapy white head that faded quickly and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was musty and dust with a bit of tart vague berries. The flavor was dryish and tart with vague berries, dust, must and cracker. Medium length tart berry finish. Light to medium body. Meh.

Location: Draft at HopsScotch, 1/17/14
Aroma: The nose is fruity/raspberry and yeasty mostly, some wheaty notes as well
Appearance: It pours a clear pinkish-red color with an off-white colored head on it
Flavor: The flavor of this one is a little bit sweet and a little bit tart, balanced between the two
Palate: The body is on the lighter side, leans a little fizzy, with a clean, tart finish
Overall Impression: I thought this one was a nice fruit beer. Sometimes these beers get way too sweet, but this one does a nice job of balancing the tartness and sweetness.

Tap at Eulogy Tavern, PHL, 30/11/13. Almost clear reddish amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is canided sugars, berry fruit dipped straw. Taste comprises pink berry fruits, red grapefruit, citric tang, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation with a little prickle. Ok fruit effort - BBQ beer on a hot summers day but not one I’d wish to see again.

From a bottle it tastes a little better than expected. I thought it would be a dull fruity beer like most but it actually had some lambic merit to it. Good solid raspberry feel throughout. Yes, does haave some of those typical fruit beer attributes but over all it seems to be a decent beer experience. Not really a lambic but OK.

Bottle. Pours light red with pink head. Nose and taste of berry juice, grass, malt and light wood. Extremely mild tartness. Short finish.

Draught @ Galaxy Hut, Arlington, VA. Pours clear amber to ruby with small white head. Clear atoma of so e unindentified berries with small white head. Sourish, vinous aroma of whatever with a hoppy note. Rather bitter and sourish aftertaste. Acceptable butbnot very enjoyable.
