Bottle from Beer Shop Hitchin. Bit of an insipid colour in the glass, but a good and well balanced malt and hops flavour. But a bit insipid overall.

Crystal clear ruby beer, thin off-white head. Light malty aroma. Flavour is malty with some caramel, a dash of hop. But it's mostly malt and caramel, not loads of either which hurts it but y'know, it's a perfectly pleasant beer.

50cl bottle at Zinnkeller, Helsinki. Poured coppery color, lasting off white head. Light bready, toasty. caramel malty flavor. Medium bodied. Caramel finish.

500ml bottle. Clear, auburn colour with ruby shimmer and average to huge, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, dark beige head. Sweet-ish, dark malty aroma, notes of malt lozenge, a touch of dark caramel and dark bread, minimally leafy, hoppy counterpart. Taste is dark malty with low residual sweetness, notes of malt lozenge, a touch of dark bread, mildly bitter, grassy hoppy counterpart. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Well balanced, not overly rich - nice.

From a 500ml bottle on 22/10/2023. Pours a deep amber with a smallish bread. The nose is malty with toast, rye bread and some nuts in the mix. The taste is similarly malty, with light but distinct bready and toasty and nutty flavours presenting. medium bodied with average carbonation. Solid.

Lett klar amber med svært lite beige topp som legger seg rundt kanten. Aroma; malt, lett karamell, hint av noe fruktig. Svak på aroma. Smak; malt, rosiner, lys karamell, hint av skogsbær.

Draught at the brewerys restaurant at Markt in Leipzig. very dark ruby. Nutty aroma. Taste of roasted barley, hints of sweetness balanced by agreable bitterness.

Bottle drunk watching The Consultant to see if it's any good. Dark brown, nice moderate lasting head. Lightly brown-sugar malty nose, very clean lager aroma. Slightly sweet, caramel malt, wee bit nutty. Light bitterness. Tasty dunkles!
