It’s Old Man Bitter
A mix of citrus and pine that will remind you of the time you went on a vision quest with your Native American cousin and you woke up in a pine grove full of grapefruit trees.
An American-style India Pale Ale with a deep golden-orange color. Bitter and hoppy, with a surprisingly smooth finish.
Modus Hoperandi, an IPA sitting at 6.8% ABV and 65 IBUs.

On tap at Taste of Tops, pours a cloudy dark orange with a medium being head. Aroma brings out earthy hops and dirty yeast. Flavour is similar, with loads of harsh yeast and earth hops, with a finish of harsh astringency. Like the Mandarina version, this is very yeast and harsh. Not good at all.

Hazy amber, off-white head. Sweet resiny aroma, malts and pine and even something eucalyptus. Similar taste, quite malty but also resiny - kinda like cough syrup or Halls candies. And very little citrus. Good.

10/2/2017. Keg at Bishops Arms Östersund & can at home. Both experiences delightful. A very powerful IPA, bursting with hops and brutally bitter. Tasting notes heavy on wood, Christmas pine. Best drunk slowly. Remmeber it being a lot more enjoyable on keh, previous rating of 4.7. 25/7/2018. Re.rated. Can from systemet. Jacked up the palate, love that real american craft beer taste 3.8 to 4 3/8/2018. Tap at Bishops Arms Östersund. 4 to 3,8. All American taste.

A shot in the dark to try this beer. Never heard of it. Purchased in a six pack of cans at the local grocery store. Opens very well with a impressive dark yellow amber color with a swell tall off-white foam which goes the distance. I detect juniper and a slight floral. A sip gives pine, citrus, some grassiness. Nice but not memorable. It ends with a decent bitterness lingering until I sipped again. The 6.8% alcohol is well hidden but quite welcome.
